Round-the-clock Prayer this weekend
Come and be part of this special time. For once we will not be in a rush, and that is something our studies have been saying – to take time to seek God.
Starting on Saturday mid-day, there is going to be opportunity for prayer next weekend at the church, arranged in 2-hour slots – though of course you can come and go at any time you wish. We will endeavour to put into practice some of the things learnt these last few weeks about prayer and there will be time for individual contemplation as well as directed prayer. The focus for the intercessionary part of each two hours will be as follows:
- Sat mid-day: Intercessory
Focus: Our Community in Porirua and Wellington
Sat 2.pm Focus: Children
Sat 4.pm Focus: Our church people and their roles in the world
Sat 6 pm Focus: Healing
Sat 8 pm Focus: Leadership
Sat 10 pm Focus: Mission
Sat 12 am Focus: Our Community
Sun 2.am Focus: Children
Sun 4.am Focus: Our church people and their roles in the world
Sun 6 am Focus: Healing
Sun 8 am Focus: Leadership
Sun 10 am Main service led by Judy McMillan
All sessions will be either in the church or upstairs, though other areas
will be available for private prayer.
