Children’s & Youth IMPACTS Group

Children’s & Youth IMPACTS Group

Thank you to those who attended the meeting last Sunday night where there was an initial discussion about current and future state of the children & youth of this church and beyond its walls.

We are aware that there is an essential and critical role of strategising and exploring the vision for this aspect of the wider church life, and we believe this will be best met by a highly functional IMPACTS group. This group needs to be re-initialised, re-invigorated & re-energised  in the very near future.

Are you willing to lead or be involved with the Children’s & Youth IMPACTS group? If so please talk to one of the elders. Please also be aware that this group is not intended to be the workers that implement these strategies but will encourage others to be as involved as they can.

A Wayward Shot

Wayward Shot

Life results in the occasional wayward shots. It is easy to see mistakes others have made. However at times it can be pretty to difficult to find our own wayward golf balls and requires close analysis or even viewing from a different perspective.

Anyway for those that attend TBCC regularly you will know we are currently on a journey through a series on relationships. On May 9th we will be focusing on the perspective of relationship in the community. Sometimes this relationship in and with the community simply means we need to get up out of our seats, pick up a spade, maybe some gardening gloves, and join with other community members and organisations in replanting parts of Whitirea park that were recently ravaged by fire. It is very appropriate that this community event is about planting and growth and even more so about doing it together so I hope you can all make an effort to be there.

Further details can be found in the newsletter attached below dated 02 May 2010.
